The surface of this tile shaped Byzantine pendant is engraved with a faded female visage depicting those excavated from the Grotto of Seven Sleepers in the ancient city of Ephesus. This elegant design is embellished with a pyramid of beads at the base.

Handmade in Vancouver from 24K gold vermeil (which is 3 microns thick of 24K gold plated over sterling silver) or sterling silver.
Georgia wears an 18” chain length. She layers The Lost Sleeper necklace with The Library of Celsus necklace (20”).
