We view jewelry as one of our most intimate and treasured possessions. Recognizing how to care for your jewelry will make a great difference in the maintenance and longevity of each piece. All Pamela Card Jewelry designs are formed using high quality sterling silver, 10-14K gold and 24K gold plating. As all pieces are formed and carved by hand, there will be slight variances in texture and colour making them unique and more personal to each customer. Please take the time to put a little extra care into the wellbeing of your jewelry.

24K GOLD VERMEIL

To keep your 24K gold vermeil heirlooms lustrous, please avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and make-up.
When unworn, we recommend storing your heirlooms in sealable plastic bags inside the original velvet box or dustbag to prevent damage.
To avoid getting your pieces wet, remove plated rings when washing hands, and always take off jewelry when swimming, showering, exercising, or sleeping. Sweat, moisture, soaps, and friction can cause the plating to wear off faster.
Gently wipe your jewelry with a soft cloth before storing it to keep it looking its best.

Sterling silver

The key to maintaining icy shine is to keep wearing your heirlooms as skin acidity naturally keeps the silver lustrous.
Gently wipe your jewelry with a soft cloth before storing it to keep it looking its best.
When unworn, we recommend storing your heirlooms in sealable plastic bags inside the original velvet box or dustbag to prevent damage.
The best way to clean your silver pieces is to softly rub them with a silver cloth or with a slightly gritty silver cleaning paste.

10K & 14K Solid Gold

To preserve the sumptuous shine of your gold heirlooms, store your gold pieces flat in their original box to help prevent scratches.
While these pieces can get wet without issue, we recommend keeping them away from harsh chemicals and perfume.
To clean gold jewelry, simply use a solution of warm water and detergent-free soap and lightly scrub with a soft-bristled brush.

Sleeping Venus

Herringbone chains are delicate by nature and require special attention. When not worn, place your chain flat in the original velvet box provided to avoid damage.
Please avoid adding pendants to your chain - any weight that pulls the Sleeping Venus down can easily kink and bend the metal.
Please do not sleep or partake in strenuous activity while wearing this necklace as it is very easy to get your chain kinked and bent when working out, playing sports, or turning around in bed.
Our herringbone chains must always be removed by the clasp, never take the chain off by pulling it over your head.
When removing clothing, please make sure your chain has already been taken off.
Please note, based on the delicate nature of this chain, we will not be responsible for kinks made in the chain after wear so please love and care for your beautiful new necklace and give it that added TLC to maintain it’s overall.

Diamonds

All our diamonds are natural, ethically sourced, and selected with great care. To preserve their sparkling beauty, we recommend avoiding contact with perfumes, cosmetics, and household chemicals.

All of our pearls are natural and delicate, so please handle them with care and love.
