The Allegory Of Estoi Necklace
The Allegory Of Estoi Necklace
FEATURES:
The Allegory of Estoi necklace was inspired by the opulent ceramic tiles displayed along the walls and ceilings of the Palácio de Estói in Faro, Portugal. These tiles, otherwise known as azulejos, were often created to illustrate significant cultural virtues of Portuguese antiquity. Strung onto a finely embellished rosary chain, the rhombus pendant was designed to epitomize the opulence of the rococo palace, from garden to salon.
