The Sacred & Profane Love Necklace
The Sacred & Profane Love Necklace
FEATURES:
This luxuriously weighty chain necklace was inspired by Titian’s 16th century work of art ‘Sacred and Profane Love’. The pearl representing the mythological Aphrodite Pandemos and the fractured coin representing Aphrodite Urania which many have identified as the central female figures in this oil painting. Our new collection is an ode to the beauty of female shapes in Botticelli's and Titian’s paintings. We have used a variety of irregular coin and biwa pearls in this collection. Each one unique in shape to resemble the female form and the idea that we as women are made up differently and in essence this makes us beautiful as no two forms are the same.
